Yosemite National Park has maintained its status as one of the most popular destinations in the United States. The National Park Service (NPS) announced that in the summer of 2023, the park will no longer require a Temporary Peak Hours vehicle reservation.

The reservation system has been in place for three years and was originally implemented to prevent the spread of COVID. The lift, however, makes planning a trip to Yosemite much easier.

While many people focus on the best places to visit in 2023, Fodor's Travel released their "No List" for regions people should reconsider in 2023.

Part of the reason, they say, is that the world may be trying to tell us to slow down, considering the 29 climate-related disasters in 2022 that have each caused more than a billion dollars in damage.
