New Craft Burger Trail Debuts in Yosemite/Tuolumne County

Tuolumne County, which covers areas of Sonora and Yosemite National Park, has just debuted a Tuolumne County Burger Trail to showcase some of the most delicious burgers in the area.

The way it works is simple — you sign up for your pass, which is a mobile exclusive passport, that will then be sent to you via text. From there, you simply redeem the 4-digit PIN code provided by a staff member at each location to check in and collect points toward prizes.

The idea for the burger trail follows the success of the Tuolumne County Craft Beverage Trail, which brought increased traffic during off-peak hours to participating businesses. Visit Tuolumne County partnered with technology company Bandwango to create the experience after researching top-performing and competitive trails in the area.

“This trail is a fun and exciting way for us to promote our locate restaurants,” said Lisa Mayo, Visit Tuolumne County’s CEO & President, in a statement. “We hope that this trail encourages locals and visitors alike to get out and dine at our amazing restaurants.”

Participating Restaurants

The seven restaurants include Andy’s Mountain Grill, Emberz Wood-Fired Foodz, Local Press, Pine Mountain Lake Country Club, Priest Station Café, The Service Station, and The Standard Pour. Visit Tuolumne County encourages all local restaurants to sign up for free.

“We have recently shifted away from a membership structure and are working on a partnership model,” said Mayo. “This is our first promotion featuring our partnership model and we are pleased to have restaurants that were not previously members of Visit Tuolumne County.”

As for the points that visitors get along the way, every 600 points earned equals an entry into the Grand Prize drawing of a one-night stay in Tuolumne County and a $100 dining gift card. The winner will be drawn in December 2023, so there’s plenty of time to dine around and earn points.

Have you been to Tuolumne County before? Any other adventures in the Yosemite area? Are you excited about the Craft Burger Trail? Which is your favorite restaurant on the list? Let me know in the comments!
