Netflix Unveils New Details For “Sex Education” Season 4

Fans of Netflix’s Sex Education rejoice, as the streaming platform has officially released the first look images of its fourth and final season.

In the upcoming season, the story takes a turn as Moordale Secondary closes its doors, and Otis (Asa Butterfield) and Eric (Ncuti Gatwa) find themselves at Cavendish Sixth Form College. Otis is filled with nerves as he sets up his new clinic, while Eric is hoping to leave behind any past notions of being "losers." However, they quickly discover that Cavendish is a whole new world, with a strong focus on sustainability, student-led initiatives, and even a daily yoga session in the communal garden.

Meanwhile, Viv (Chinenye Ezeudu) finds herself bewildered by the non-competitive atmosphere, and Jackson (Kedar Williams-Sterling) is still grappling with feelings over Cal (Dua Saleh). Aimee (Aimee Lou Wood) decides to explore her creative side by taking up Art A-Level, and Adam (Connor Swindells) is faced with the question of whether mainstream education is the right path for him. Along the way, Maeve (Emma Mackey) lives out her dream at Wallace University in the US, while Otis pines for her and adjusts to changes at home and on campus.

Excitingly, Emmy award-winning actor Dan Levy of Schitt's Creek also joins the ensemble, along with other fresh faces like Jodie Turner Smith, comedian Eshaan Akbar, and Doctor Who’s Thaddea Graham.

Success for Sex Education

Sex Education has been a resounding success since its debut on Netflix in 2019, garnering numerous awards and accolades. Season 3 alone reached an impressive 66.6 million views in its first 91 days on the platform. However, the bittersweet news arrived earlier in July when Netflix confirmed that the upcoming fourth season would be the show's final chapter.
